ABOUT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

HOW TO ENTER

CJGA Regional and National Championships bring together junior golfers across Canada that have accomplished success in CJGA events, Provincial and Golf Canada events over the past 3 seasons.

All juniors, however, are encouraged to apply online to all CJGA regional or national championships.

Juniors may be put on a waiting list to start when entering, however, the CJGA will continue to fill the field until the field is filled.

Priority though will be given to those juniors that have performed well in local, provincial, regional, or CJGA events. Championships may have different criteria for acceptance depending on the tournament format.

1. Participants may register online. When registering, junior golfers should fill out the “Resume form” provided on the Championship information site. Fill out the box asking for Past tournament accomplishments. As well, please give other golfing credentials on the registration form provided on each Championship page. After responding to all questions, answer the mathematical question then click on “Send Application”. Your Resume will be forwarded to the CJGA Selection Committee to review. Upon clicking on Send Application, you will then be taken to registration page for that specific Championship Event.

2. Any application with incorrect or falsified resume information will be ineligible for selection.

3. Entry fees are non-refundable once an applicant has been accepted into any of the Championship Events.

4. The CJGA Selection Committee will select the field for the championship two weeks before the date of the event or earlier. The field will posted on the CJGA website one week prior to the championship. All entries who registered online may be temporarily put on a waiting list but if room exists they will be entered in the event.

5. Juniors not accepted at first will be kept on the waiting list until a spot becomes available. Keep checking with the CJGA to find out if you have been entered.
