CJGA Junior Tour – For Boys & Girls Ages 10-18
About the Junior Tour
The CJGA Junior Tour is a competitive developmental tour for Junior boys & girls of all skill levels, 10-18 years of age, who have desires to build a resume for higher level competitions or just to test their skills.
The Junior Tour consists primarily of a series of 18 hole, 36 hole, 54 hole, and 72 hole competitions. Events are conducted in regions all across Canada. Participants earn points on the GOLFTEC National Order’s of Merit based on their finish in each event. In addition to the standard 36 hole competitions the CJGA Junior Tour conducts a number of Regional & National Championships which consist of both three-day (54 hole) & four-day (72) hole competitions.
Junior Tour events are organized and operated with the utmost level of professionalism by trained CJGA Staff. Each event is officiated by certified Referees. Junior Tour events are recognized by numerous national & international ranking organizations and are viewed as a great measure of a players capabilities by colleges & universities in the United States and Canada.
The goal of the CJGA Junior Tour is to provide you (the Junior) with the best experience possible in your development as a player while you pursue your passion for the game. Whether your goal be to secure a scholarship to a University or College or to prepare yourself for the Canadian or U.S. Amateur Championships or even the PGA Tours, we aim to provide you with the best place possible to develop your skills.
There are four (4) divisions on the CJGA Junior Tour which are determined by a players age & gender.

Eligibility: A players age is determined as of August 1 in any current year.
Playing Up: Bantam age players may request to participate in an older age group for an event by contacting the CJGA head office. Requests to play up a division must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the first round of competition.
Notes: Juniors age 10 & 11 years of age may participate in the Bantam/Peewee division on the CJGA Junior Tour with the permission of the CJGA Competitions Committee.
