-Full field ready to compete on TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley’s North course-
North York, ON (May 31, 2019) – The field is set for the Humber College PGM CJGA Ontario Junior Open for the weekend. A full field of 90 juniors from across Ontario will compete on TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley’s North course in Caledon, Ontario Saturday and Sunday.
Competing in Junior and Bantam Boys & Girls divisions, juniors will be competing for coveted spots in the North America Cup which takes place July 23-26, 2019 at TPC Toronto on the Heathlands course.
A parkland-style layout that welcomes players with generous landing areas and naturally rolling fairways, the North course, formerly named Toot, offers golfers of all abilities a delightful experience from start to finish.
While its width off the tee may be benevolent, deep greenside bunkers and undulating putting surfaces put a premium on approaching pins from the right angles, providing a challenge that rewards good shots but tests those who get out of position.
The North course plays host annually to the Osprey Valley Open, an official event on the Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada, where some of the world’s top up-and-coming players compete to advance their careers closer to the PGA TOUR.
Schedule of Events
June 1 – First Round – 8:00am (split tee start)
June 2 – Second Round – 8:00am (split tee start)
