Sainte-Dorthee (September 29th) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association is excited to host the CJGA Junior at Islesmere this weekend in Sainte-Dorthee, QC. This marks the last tournament of the year in Quebec and gives players one last chance to raise a trophy in the 2017 CJGA season.

The historic Club de golf Islesmere is in mint condition for the players this weekend. The course is a traditional parkland course played in woodland areas. Islesmere is a tree-lined and very strategic golf course where patience is truly a virtue. The club has hosted many professional events over the years such as both the mens and women Canadian Opens, a couple Canadian PGA Championships, the Quebec Open and the Montreal Open. The course record 63 is held by the legendary golfer, Bryon Nelson when he played in the 1945 Montreal Open.

The weather forecast predicts for a great weekend of fall golf in Sainte-Dorthee. With temperatures hovering around 16 degrees and sunny skies, will make for a great weekend of golf. The CJGA Junior at Islesmere will be officially ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard.
