Hamilton, ON (September 15th, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association continues the Ontario Fall Series this weekend at Kings Forest Golf Club in Hamilton, ON. Juniors will take the advice and information learned from PGA Tour player David Hearn at last week’s David Hearn Kia Championship Clinic and hope to apply it to their rounds at Kings Forest.

The tournament this weekend is a qualifier for the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Golf Championship, one of the most prestigious junior golf championships in the world. The tournament is December 3rd-7th in San Diego at the beautiful La Costa Resort & Golf Club. The winner of the girls division receives starts in the Women’s Australian Open and the New Zealand Ladies Masters. The winning boy will get an exemption into the Australian Open. CJGA Team Canada will consist of six Junior Boys and three Junior Girls selected by the CJGA Team Canada Selection Committee.

Located in the Red Hill Valley in Hamilton, ON Kings Forest Golf Club is considered to be one of the premier golfing facilities in the province. Ontario Golf Magazine calls Kings Forest one of the top public golf courses in Ontario and is a hidden gem to all golfers. The course has hosted many championships such as the 2001 Ontario Men’s Amateur Championship and the 2002 CJGA Ontario Finals. The finishing hole is an uphill par 5 to an elevated green which may tempt the longer hitters to try to reach it in two in order to post a great round. Members say the key to the eighteenth hole is to put your approach shot slightly to the right of the green to take the foliage out of play.

This event will be officially ranked by Golf Ontario and Junior Golf Scoreboard.
