PXG Canada to become an official Partner and National sponsor of the CJGA
Richmond Hill (June 14th, 2023) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) – Canada’s number one junior golf development program – continues to expand on its goals of enriching the lives of today’s youth through golf education, competition, and training. Today, the CJGA announced that golf research and development company PXG has become an official partner of the organization and will take a leading role in its second annual CJGA Polair Golf Canadian Championship.
“PXG is thrilled for the opportunity to help foster a love of golf among young athletes while also supporting the CJGA’s mission of enriching the lives of youth through the game,” said Will Norton, Country Manager of PXG Canada. “Laying a solid foundation for the future and helping to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported on the course is something we can truly get behind.”
In its second year on the CJGA schedule, the CJGA Polair Golf Canadian Championship brings together the top junior golfers from across North America to compete in an esteemed, four-day competition. The tournament not only provides elite junior golfers with an opportunity to play in a high-profile national championship but also allows them to build upon their golf resumes for the future. The CJGA – Polair Golf Canadian Championship, Presented by PXG, will take place at Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club in Thornton, Ontario on August 7-10, 2023.
“We are looking forward to welcoming PXG as our newest OEM (Official Equipment Manufacturer) for the 2023 season and growing the partnership in the future,” said Earl Fritz, Founder of the CJGA. “PXG has proven to be one of the top golf manufacturers in North America, and they are keen to help support and grow junior golf with their support with the CJGA. We are excited about partnering with the PXG team and making their golf clubs and apparel available to our CJGA junior membership and Canadian families.”
The CJGA believes the game of golf instills a variety of core values such as self-discipline, respect, character, and integrity, and pushes today’s youth to grow into the true champions they can be. By helping junior golfers establish these lifelong skills, regardless of their economic status, the organization is helping to build a strong future for Canada through and for its youth.
Aligned with its mission of expanding the game, PXG is a natural fit as a sponsor for the organization. The company works to promote diversity and inclusion in golf through its everyday efforts and several key initiatives aimed at making the game less intimidating, more accessible, and overall, more fun for all.
