Company to become Official Scoring System of 2021 World Junior Challenge
December 16, 2021 – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is delighted to announce a new partnership with Big Shooter Golf for our 2021 World Junior Challenge to be held at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida and beyond. This partnership will see Big Shooter Golf become the Official Scoring System of our 2021 World Junior Challenge, with more opportunities in the future.
To kick off this partnership, the CJGA will be Alpha Testing the Big Shooter live scoring functionality at the World Junior Challenge to be held in Palm Harbor from December 28th – 30th. This functionality allows players, parents, coaches, and friends to see real time standings, pictures, and videos hole-by-hole as it happens!
“We are so excited to be partnering with Big Shooter Golf for our 2021 World Junior Challenge and beyond,” said CJGA Director of Tour Operations, Tyler Torrieri. “Big Shooter Golf is an incredible new software that is set to revolutionize how people play the game of golf by giving players the ability to be interconnected with their friends across the world during a round in real time, while maintaining the integrity of the game. At this year’s World Junior Challenge, parents, coaches, family, and friends of players will be able to see their live hole-by-hole scores through the Big Shooter App, something that has never been done to this extent on the CJGA before.”
“We are honoured and thrilled to partner with the CJGA to bring additional player, parent and fan engagement to the forefront using our suite of solutions.” said Alex McDougall, co-founder of Big Shooter Golf. “We’re excited to Alpha Test our live scoring functionality at the WJC, but this is only the beginning. Stay tuned for tons more!”
