Burnaby, BC (July 30th, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association is ready to host the annual CJGA Burnaby Golf Junior Open at both Riverway Golf Course and Burnaby Mountain Golf Course in Burnaby, BC. The first round will be played at Burnaby Mountain Golf Course while the final round will be at Riverway Golf Course. This is the first CJGA event in British Columbia since the beginning of June.

Riverway Golf Course is one of the premier eighteen hole championship golf courses in the Vancouver area. The course has links-style fairways and has a challenging course layout. The fairways are lined by sweeping mounds of fescue and the course has an array of white tan bunkers and water hazards that are strategically placed to make every shot exciting.

Burnaby Mountain Golf Course is a popular course in the area because of its natural tree-lined beauty and the gentle rolling terrain of the golf course. It creates a blend of charm, character and serenity while playing the course. Players will need to make precise shot making to achieve good scores. Golf Digest calls Burnaby Mountain “One of the best places to play” in North America.

The tournament will be officially ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard.
