Chilliwack, BC (June 9, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association will be hosting a Nike Golf Junior Series event this upcoming weekend at the Chilliwack Golf Club in Chilliwack, BC. The event will see golfers tee it up from across British Columbia for a chance to win their division title.

Chilliwack Golf Club is a semi-private club that presents golfers with magnificent tree lined fairways and breathtaking mountain vistas surrounding the course. There is a creek that meanders through the back nine of the course, which effects a few holes. Chilliwack Golf Club has built a reputation of being the most popular golf course in Fraser Valley over the last 50 years. The course is always being mentioned as a one of the best conditioned golf courses in the province, as it has hosted many provincial championships.

Juniors will be playing in cloudy skies this weekend with a chance of the sun coming out during the final round. Forecasts predict a small chance of showers during the first round but it will remain less than a millimetre.

This event will be a qualifier for the US Kids Golf Teen World Championship at Pinehurst in North Carolina. Scoring well this weekend will give juniors a good chance to be invited to the championship at the end of July. This event will be officially ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard.
