Caledon, ON (June 2, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is hosting another Nike Golf Junior Series event this weekend at the stunning Caledon Woods Golf Club in Caledon, ON. Players will be trying to qualify for the annual AJGA/CJGA Junior Championship and the FCG Callaway World Championship in California.

Juniors will expect a scenic and inspiring round while walking on pastoral hills and valleys in the Caledon countryside this weekend. Caledon Woods is a combination of modern features and with a old club style which produces top golf conditions. When golf course architect Paul Takahashi renovated the course in 2003 he introduced a links-style element to the club along with engaging greens that have wide range of slopes and contours. Players should be prepared to play uneven fairway shots as uneven lies are common around Caledon Woods. If juniors can shape their tee shots then they can take advantages on certain holes as moving the ball can benefit shots into the greens.

Players should try to go low during their first round as the winds should stay calm and the temperatures remain warm. Sunday winds should pick up along with the forecast predicting some rains.

This event is officially ranked by Golf Ontario and the Junior Golf Scoreboard.
