Leduc, AB (May 19, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association is back in Alberta this weekend for the CJGA Junior at RedTail Landing Golf Club in Leduc, AB. Juniors from across Alberta will be competing within their divisions to be crowned the CJGA Junior at RedTail champion.
RedTail Landing Golf Club is a prairie links style golf course which generously gives players wide fairways to aim at off the tee but then has strategically placed bunkers which gives can cause trouble for players hitting their second and approach shots. The course is designed by Puddicombe Golf which their courses always provide players with a variety of interesting and challenging holes that they will require every club in their bag.
Juniors will have beautiful weather and scoring conditions on the weekend. With predicted forecasts of mainly sunny skies and temperatures around 20 degrees, players will be playing in perfect golf conditions.
Participants will have the opportunity to qualify for multiple world wide tournaments with good finishes this weekend. Juniors could potentially represent the CJGA at the FCG Callaway World Championship in California, the Euro Junior Golf Cup in Scotland and the AJGA/CJGA Junior Championship in Ontario. Junior Boys will also have the opportunity to qualify for the Junior America’s Cup in Washington.
