-Inaugural CJGA Night Golf Event Set for June 2-

Richmond Hill, Ont. (May 12, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association is pleased to announce a new partnership for the 2017 season with Night Golf.

The partnership will see the first CJGA / Night Golf event take place on Friday June 2, 2017 at Rolling Hills Golf Club in Stouffville, Ontario.

“This is an exciting and unique new partnership for the CJGA and our members” said Brad Parkins, COO of the CJGA. “As we look at ways to engage our members while also looking to increase participation in the sport, Night Golf provides a family-fun environment where anyone can play. It is important for us to provide these opportunities to juniors and their families outside of the traditional tournaments.”

Open to all CJGA members and family members, the event gets underway a 9:00pm with a Junior/Parent team scramble. Participants will also be able to participate in a number of other fun activities, including a golf ball canon contest, putting contest, chipping contest, skeetball contest and a closest to the pin contest.
