Fenwick, Ont. (April 21, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) Junior Tour will kick off its Ontario schedule at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club in Fenwick, ON., this weekend. Players will compete both Saturday and Sunday in hopes of claiming their division titles. With only six Nike Golf Junior Series events left, players will look to earn an invitation to the prestigious Nike Golf Junior Championship, which will be held in Ontario later in the summer.

Considered among one of the top national junior events in Canada, the Nike Golf Junior Championship is an event like no other on the CJGA schedule.  This winners-only event brings together the division winners from the 8 event Nike Golf Junior Series from across Canada to compete in the 9th final championship event.

Designed by legendary Canadian architect, Rene Muylaert, Peninsula Lakes Golf Club is considered to be the “The Jewel of Niagara”. The course has been recognized by Golf Digest as a four and a half star facility.

Juniors will be playing on Hillside and Quarry courses, with the Quarry nine being the more difficult of the two. The courses have been carved from the remains of an old sand and gravel quarry offering a stunning variety of challenges for players.
