Victoria, B.C. (March 10, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) Junior Tour will be heading to Cordova Bay Golf Course in Victoria, B.C., this upcoming weekend for the CJGA Junior at Cordova Bay. Junior golfers across the pacific province ages 13 to 18 will compete in the junior tour event.

The tour will give juniors an opportunity to qualify for the BC Junior Boys Championship at Squamish Valley Golf Club in Squamish, B.C. on July 4 to 7, 2017. Juniors are also given the opportunity to qualify for the AJGA Canadian Junior Championship on August 7 to 10 in Ontario, Canada.

Cordova Bay offers an atmosphere, stunning course conditions and spectacular views. The grass is short in the places it should be and long in others. The trees are beautiful to look at and challenging to hit from. Mt. Baker rises imperiously from the horizon, daring you to match its perfection with every shot you hit. As a certified Audubon Sanctuary, they offer wildlife almost as beautiful as the gardens kept by our award winning grounds crew.

The forecast for the weekend currently shows light showers on Saturday and Sunday with high single digit temperatures on both days. The golf course will be in good shape with fresh cut fairways and greens.
