Richmond Hill, Ont. (July 6, 2016) – As the Nike Golf Junior Series begins its close, we have seen many talented golfers climb to the top of their divisions on the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) Junior Tour. This event was no different; the field of golfers put their best efforts forward to make their last attempt at earning an exemption to the Nike Golf Junior Championship, which will be held in Ontario later in the season.

Junior Boys Division (U19)

Taking home the winning title for the Junior Boys division was Ryan Stolys, 18, from Richmond Hill, Ont. in his fourth year with the CJGA, Stolys fired rounds of 71 (-1), 75 (+3) for a tournament total of 146.

Finishing just a stroke behind Stolys was Dee Xie, 15, of Toronto, Ont. Xie carded round totals of 71 (-1), 76 (+4) giving him a two-round total of 147.

Junior Girls Division (U19)

A member of the CJGA since 2010, Emily Zhu, 12, of Richmond Hill, Ont., closed out the event with rounds of 75 (+3), 79 (+7), for a tournament total of 154.

Juvenile Boys Division (U17)

Jonathan Cramton, 16, of Toronto, Ont., has been working towards a win since he joined the CJGA in 2013. Carding rounds of 75 (+3), 74 (+2) and a tournament total of 149 was enough to give Cramton a six-stroke lead over the second place position.

Jack Sue, 15, from Richmond Hill, Ont., was awarded second place after posting rounds of 76 (+4), 79 (+7) for a two-day total of 144.

Bantam Boys Division (U15)

Connor Munro, 13, from Etobicoke, Ont., has climbed the ranks since coming in second at Caldeon Woods. Munro fired rounds of 74 (+2), 80 (+8) giving in a tournament total of 154 and the winning position for the Bantam Boys Division.

Keifer Bulau, 13, from King City, Ont., took home second place after carding rounds of 79 (+7), 80 (+8) for a two-round total of 159.

Bantam Girls Division (U15)

Adele Chun, 13, of Richmond Hill, Ont., managed to keep the lead in the final round and to take home first place. Chun fired rounds of 87, 93 for a tournament total of 180.

Following behind Chun was Lauren Zaretsky, 12, of Thornhill, Ont. Zaretsky carded round totals of 98, 89, for a two-day total of 187.
