Richmond Hill, Ont. (June 27, 2016) – Once again, It’s the time of the year when everyone starts to buckle down for the biggest tournaments of the season. This week 4 CJGA Junior Tour players have earn the right to play in the International Junior Masters (IJM) which will take place at East Aurora Country Club in New York, U.S.A., commencing on June 27 and running until July 1, 2016.

The IJM consists of a 36-hole medal qualifier to determine match play brackets. The low 32 players qualify for the Championship Flight and compete for the International Junior Masters Overall Championship. The 16 non-winners of the first round matches in the Championship Flight are positioned in the Championship Consolation bracket.

“The CJGA is proud to hold elite qualifying events to send junior golfers to play in international tournaments such as the IJM,” explains John Lawrence, Managing Director of Tour Operations for the CJGA. “The CJGA has been working with the International Junior Masters for 15 years and many junior golfers have carried this great experience with them through their golf careers.”

An impressive string of CJGA Junior Tour players have been selected to represent Team CJGA at the International Junior Masters.

Robbie Latter – 2015 CJGA  Team Canada at North America’s Cup

Brady Futterer – Placed 2^nd at the 2015 CJGA World Junior Challenge

Zachary Greifenberger – Placed 6^th at the Nike Golf Junior Championship

Eli Mathew – Placed 3^rd at the Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship
