Sainte-Sophie, QC (October 2, 2015) – CJGA juniors residing in Quebec and Eastern Ontario are competing at Club de Golf Val Des Lacs this weekend in the final event of the CJGA Quebec Fall Series. Junior golfers from 13 to 18 years of age will be taking to the fairways and greens in the hopes of not only winning their division title, but also qualifying for CJGA Team Canada at the 2015 Aaron Baddeley International Junior Golf Championship. This prestigious event will take place from December 5-10 in San Diego, CA at La Costa Golf Club.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2009, the Club de golf Val Des Lacs is a classic parkland course renowned for its pristine conditioning and traditional feel. Designed by renowned Canadian architect Howard Watson, Val Des Lacs features rolling fairways accented by lakes, valleys and hills, and defined by mature trees.
Juniors will be battling the weather this weekend as temperatures are projected to be in the low teens, with a chance of frost in the mornings.
