Richmond Hill, ON (July 10, 2015)- The CJGA Linkster tour made another stop on Friday at Bathurst Glen Golf Course. Golfers were gifted with amazing weather and clear skies. Bathurst Glen challenged Linksters with fescue areas on nearly every hole, rewarding those who could keep it in the fairway and punishing those who could not.

Boys 11-13

The Boys 11-13 Division was full of great competitors, and Zander Gibson of Milton, Ontario finished atop the leaderboard. Zander shot 32-32 for a round of 64 (+1) to squeak out a victory over Ancaster, Ontario’s Liam Jauhal. Jauhal finished one shot behind Gibson with a round of 65 (+2).

Girls 10-13

The Girls 10-13 division ended in exciting fashion at Bathurst Glen with a sudden death playoff. Nyah Kelly of Bobcaygeon, ON and Raesa Sheikh of Markham, ON, who both shot rounds of 75 (+7) battled through two playoff holes to determine a winner. Nyah was able to get up-and-down for a great par save on the second playoff hole to clinch the victory over Raesa.

Boys 9-10

Brian Lai of North York, ON posted a round of 73 (+5), with scores of 36-37 to win his first career CJGA event. Falling four shots behind Lai was Markham, ON native Jaden Chan, who shot a round of 38-39 for a total of 77 (+9) and a second place finish.

Girls 9 & Under

Lindsay McGrath of Oakville, ON won her second title of the season in just her third CJGA event of the year. McGrath shot a score of 39 (+7), and finished strong as she was only +1 in her last four holes to secure her victory.

Boys 8 & Under

After finishing in the top-5 at six events so far this season, Cheho An of North York, ON can now add a victory to his resume. An put up a score of 33 (+1), which was enough to edge out Gabriel Yazdani (London, ON) and Jager Pain (Richmond Hill, ON), who both shot rounds of 35 (+3).

The CJGA Linkster Tour now heads to Wyndance Golf Club, for a 9-hole event which is part of the CJGA Linkster ClubLink Series. The tournament takes place on Friday July 17^th.
