Danny King, CJGA Board of Director, won the PGA Championship of Canada Thursday at Cabot Links.With the win, Danny King moved inside the top five on the PGA of Canada player rankings.

The CJGA, in May of this year, conducted the CJGA Cabot Links Junior Open at Cabot Links. Staff came back claiming that it was the best course that they had ever played in Canada.

Moe Norman, George Knudson, Al Balding, Bob Panasik, Wilf Homenuik, Stan Leonard, Lee Trevino and Arnold Palmer were some of the notable players that have won the PGA Championship of Canada.

A top-50 golf instructor and 4-time teacher of the year nominee, Danny is one of Canada’s most distinguished teaching professionals and players and most recently named Player of the Year by his peers at the Ontario PGA. His coaching philosophy goes beyond the golf swing to cover body awareness, mental coaching, nutrition and fitness that help maximize performance. Competing in tournaments around the world , winning 2 Canadian PGA Championships , 3 PGA of Ontario Championships in addition to being the Order of Merit all time money leader . Presently ranked #11 player by the Canadian Professional Golf Association and Director of Instruction at the Magna Golf Club in Aurora, Ontario.

Danny currently has developed The Performance Academy to help elite junior golfers. Danny is very excited about the 2015 Elite Junior program offering  candidates who are serious about improving their games at the exclusive Magna Golf Club in Aurora, Ontario.

The Performance Academy offers an intimate program led by instructors Danny King and David Fritz and the Sport Science team of Kevin and Adam Honsberger. It is limited to 8 junior competitors.
