Richmond Hill, ON (June 2, 2015) – The third event on the Quebec Junior schedule is set to take place this weekend, June 6 & 7. Golfers will be testing their skills on the classic parkland course at Kanata Golf and Country Club. The event is a qualifier for several championships including the Euro Junior Golf Cup, the Veritas World Junior and the AJGA/CJGA Junior Championship. The numerous exemptions on the line will attract some of the best golfers in the area.

This 18-hole course, featuring a yardage of 6714 from the gold tees will prove to be a tough test for golfers. The strategically placed mature trees, rolling mounds and large bunkers set the tone for the course, while its small to medium-sized tricky greens place a premium on shot selection and ball control.

The weather forecast is looking favourable for the junior golfers with temperatures projected to be in the low twenties with sunny skies.

The strong field of juniors is sure to produce an exciting weekend of golf. Players to keep an eye on:
