Richmond Hill, ON (May 27, 2015) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) Junior Tour heads to Hamilton, Ontario this weekend for the CJGA Junior at Glendale. Junior golfers will be looking to capture their respective divisional titles as well as earn exemptions into the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship and the CJGA PING Canadian Junior Match Play Championship. Also on the line are exemptions into the AJGA/CJGA Junior Championship and the Veritas World Junior, to be conducted later this summer.

Glendale Golf and Country Club belongs to the Clublink family of golf courses, offering playing enjoyment for each level of golfer. The parkland-style course, founded in 1919, features the Niagara Escarpment throughout its landscape, making play difficult, yet picturesque, for golfers.

The tree-lined course plays just under 6,400 yards from the blue tees. Tee shots become intimidating at Glendale, as the grand trees stand tall over tee boxes and leafy corridors for fairways make it tough to manage a good score. The greens are one-of-a-kind, with the “escarpment affect” leaving many golfers puzzled round and round again.

The weather forecast for Saturday’s first round shows a chance of rain showers but with a high of 25 degrees. Sunday, the heat should move through and a high of 14 degrees is expected.

The field this week looks to be strong and the weekend looks to be primed for some great golf. Players to keep an eye on this weekend are:
