Lim scored a 78 through the first round shooting 12 pars and improving to a 77 in the second round. Falling to Lim was Karen Zhang who scored a 77 in round 1 and 79 in round 2. When asked about how she handles the pressure of a close matchup Lim responded by saying “It was a pretty tight game, the last hole I was a bit nervous. Karen made a birdie on the last hole and I had the same putt as yesterday when I four-putted the last hole. My game has been up and down this year, for a while there I couldn’t break 80. A few weeks ago that changed and I’m playing much better.”
