Tournament Format:
Four rounds of stroke play. After the first two rounds of play there will be a cut of 50% and ties in each of the divisions for the remaining two rounds.
Divisions Consist of:
- Amateur Men (U24)
- Amateur Ladies (U24)
- Junior Boys (U24)
- Junior Girls (U19)
- Bantam Boys (U15)
- Bantam Girls (U15)
Competition Eligibility:
Juniors can earn exemptions to the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship by the following methods:
- The top golfers from the 2019 Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship:
- Girls Division- Top 5 and ties
- Boys 14 & Under Division- Top 5 and ties
- Boys 15-19 division- Top 10 and ties
- Placed 1st or 2nd (including ties) in any CJGA Junior Tour event during the 2019/2020 season.
- Winner or finalist of 2019, 2020 and 2021 PING Canadian Match Play Championship
- Successful Championship Application players who have submitted an application will be placed on the waiting list and reviewed by the CJGA committee before being accepted. All players who register online will be placed on the waiting list before acceptance. Their performances will be reviewed before acceptance. All others may be placed in the field after acceptance of those who meeting qualification requirements.
Please note that in order to participate in CJGA Championship events, you must be a member and in good standing with the Canadian Junior Golf Association.
Juniors may register online or send in a completed 2021 Mizuno National Championship application. All applications must be submitted it to the CJGA Head Office by by email to info@cjga.com 3 weeks prior to the posted event.
