The Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship is the culminating event on the CJGA’s schedule, bringing together the top junior golfers representing every province across Canada in an esteemed four day competition. This event was established to provide elite junior golfers with an opportunity to compete in a high profile national championship event as well as build their golf resumes.

Tournament Format:

Four rounds of stroke play. After the first two rounds of play there will be a cut of 50% and ties in each of the divisions for the remaining two rounds.

Divisions Consist of:

  • Junior Boys (U19)
  • Junior Girls (U19)
  • Bantam Boys (U15)
  • Bantam Girls (U15)

Competition Eligibility:

Juniors can earn exemptions to the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship by the following methods:

  1. The top golfers from the 2018 Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship:
    1. Girls Division- Top 5 and ties
    2. Boys 14 & Under Division- Top 5 and ties
    3. Boys 15-19 division- Top 10 and ties
  1. Placed 1st or 2nd (including ties) in any CJGA Junior Tour event during the 2019 season.
  1. Winner or finalist of 2018 & 2019 PING Canadian Match Play Championship
  1. Successful Championship Application players who have submitted an application will be placed on the waiting list and reviewed by the CJGA committee to be accepted.

Please note that in order to participate in CJGA Championship events, you must be a member and in good standing with the Canadian Junior Golf Association.

Juniors that are eligible to participate must complete the 2019 Mizuno National Championship application and submit it to the CJGA Head Office by fax (905) 731-6058 or by email to info@cjga.com.
