Juniors are Ready to tee off at the CJGA Junior at Bethesda Grange Golf Club

Stouffville, Ont. (April 28, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) will play its second event on the Ontario schedule this weekend at Bethesda Grange Golf Club in Stouffville, ON. Juniors will be competing in two weekend rounds with their ultimate goal of winning their respective division titles. This tournament will act as a qualifier for the International Junior Masters, with winners from each division earning a chance to be selected for the CJGA team.

Bethesda Grange Golf Club with present the competitors with significant challenges with new bunker placements and collection areas around the greens. Winners this week will have to successfully navigate the course correctly as golf course management will be a must at Bethesda Grange. Players will have to play well on the par 3 fourth hole this weekend, as it will present them with a tricky shot that must carry a pond to reach the green.

This event is being ranked by Golf Ontario which will be in the back of the juniors mind during every shot, regardless of which round they are playing. The weather forecast shows partly cloudy skies hovering around 10 degrees for Saturday, while Sunday’s round there is a slight chance of rain with a cooler temperature around 7 degrees.
