Larry Ungerman passed away during his time in Florida this week. Larry was a true friend. He was a true inspiration and helped found the Canadian Junior Golf Association in 1992.

Being a Canadian Junior Golf Association Board member, Larry was a outstanding supporter.

Larry was well known in the golf industry. He was past president of the NGCOA, a partner in Muskoka Bay Golf Club, Royal Woodbine Club Club, as well as being a Golf Course Consultant and Independent Real Estate Professional.

He was directly related to Irving Ungerman who was the known as the manager of one of Canada’s best boxers, George Chuvalo.

I just spoke to him through email a couple of weeks ago and he was looking forward to his trip to Asia. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Larry will always be in my mind and heart. The Canadian Junior Golf Association would like to offer its sincere condolences to Larry’s Family.

We have lost a true inspiration to game of golf.

Your friend always.
