Bethesda Grange set to Host CJGA Junior and Linkster Tour
Stouffville, Ont. (September 22, 2016) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association Junior Tour will be getting underway at ClubLink’s Bethesda Grange Golf Course this weekend. Golfers will compete in five separate divisions on this fun and challenging championship course.
Formally known as the Championship Course at Rolling Hills, the course underwent extensive renovations and has become what we know today as, Bethesda Grange. The renovation was overseen by one of Canada’s leading designers, Paul Takahashi. Takahashi is also responsible for the creation of various ClubLink courses such as: Caledon Woods, Station Creek and Emerald Hills.
Bethesda Grange is not an overly long course by modern standards, but does present its own sets of unique challenges. Many of the course’s original bunkers were relocated and added closely to the greens, in an attempt to thwart potential birdies. The stand out hole of the course is the par 3 fourth. With a length of 190 yards from the back tees, golfers will have to ensure their tee shot clears a pond that stretches almost entirely from the tee to the green.
September 24 – Round One – 10:58 a.m.
September 25 – Round Two – 10:58 a.m.
