The CJGA is committed to maintaining a competitive environment that at the same time remains fun & educational for participants. Parents are encouraged to caddie for their players to help them play their best and ensure that the environment remains enjoyable for all involved. The CJGA will not tolerate caddies or spectators who are abusive towards their players or other players in the field, please familiarize yourself and adhere to the following rules of conduct for caddies.
- If a caddie becomes disruptive to the point of receiving a formal complaint from an official, volunteer, competitor or caddie, he or she will be given a warning upon validation by the CJGA.
- After a second offense, the caddie will be placed on probation and required to attend a meeting with CJGA officials to review the complaints levied against them.
- Upon a third offense, caddie privileges will be suspended for one (1) month.
- Repeat offenders may be subject to an indefinite suspension of caddie privileges at the discretion of the CJGA
Violations include profanity, abusive language, club throwing, cheating, disrespect of volunteers, competitors, or officials, abuse to the golf course or the facilities, littering, or any other conduct unbecoming of a caddie. The CJGA reserves the right to dismiss any caddie at any time for an egregious offense.
