Richmond Hill, Ont. (April 5th, 2022) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce the renewal and increased sponsorship with Hometurf Lawn Care for the 2022 season.  The partnership will see Hometurf become the presenting sponsor of a two-part Junior series at Granite Ridge Golf Course in Milton, Ontario from April 30th – May 1st, and at Deerfield Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario from May 7th – 8th, 2022.  In addition to their sponsored events, they will also become our National Hole-in-One sponsor and recognize any CJGA junior golf member for a hole-in-one during a tournament in 2022.  They will become the Title sponsor of the Hometurf “Hole-in-One” Award of Excellence.

Both sponsored events in the two-part Hometurf Junior series will be open to all junior golfers between the ages of 10-24 and part of the season long GOLFTEC – CJGA National Order of Merit.  The Hometurf “Hole-in-One” Award of Excellence, will not only honour each deserving junior golfer, but Hometurf will be partnering with our Official Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) partners to put together some great prize packages for our winners.  Stay tuned for more information, and good luck to all of our CJGA junior members!

“We are very thankful to have Hometurf return as a CJGA partner and increase their support of junior golf in Canada.” said Earl Fritz, Founder and CEO of the CJGA, “Matt from Hometurf understands the importance of growing and supporting junior golf, as he is an Alumnus of the CJGA.  We are excited to continue to grow the partnership, and work with Hometurf again this year.”

Hometurf is Canada’s largest independently owned lawn care service provider, and services most of Southern Ontario and southern Alberta.  In additional to their 30+ years of service for Canadian homeowners, they will be offering all CJGA families a 10% discount on all of their lawn care home programs and services by using the promo-code:  CJGA2022.  This promo-code will be active starting April 30, 2022 for the reminder of their season – before this date, all members can enjoy a 10% discount through Hometurf’s Early-Bird-Special program.

“We are thrilled to expand on our partnership with the CJGA.” said Matt Hooper, President & CEO of Hometurf. “As a locally owned and operated business, we’re constantly looking for ways to give back to our community, and supporting junior golf is a great way for us to do that.  Nothing beats the thrill of your first (or second!) hole-in-one, and we’ll be looking forward to seeing many ‘aces’ this season!”
