(Richmond Hill, Ontario) March 1st, 2022 – The CJGA is excited to announce an extension of our partnership with PING Canada, which will see the continuation of our annual PING Canadian Junior Match Play Championship through 2023. PING Canada will continue to be the title partner of our annual PING Canadian Junior Match Play Championship and provide giveaways to all participants and prizing to top finishers in each division.

“We are ecstatic to extend our longest standing partnership with PING Canada,” said CJGA Founder and CEO Earl Fritz, “PING Canada has been one of our biggest supporters in growing the game of golf amongst juniors in Canada and have provided them with a staple event on our annual calendar that junior players look forward to year-after-year. We look forward to continuing our partnership with PING Canada for the years to come.”

The 2023 PING Canadian Junior Match Play Championship will be the 22nd year that PING will be the title partner, the longest standing partnership in the CJGA’s history. The PING Canadian Junior Match Play Championship is a TIER-1 event on the CJGA schedule and will be ranked by the top-ranking associations throughout North America.

“The CJGA and PING Canada have been partners for over 20 years, the partnership has remained strong and we are investing more in junior golf every year. The fundamentals from the beginning were to encourage growth in the game while providing the opportunity to play the game in a competitive environment. Additionally, all of us that are involved in the game know golf teaches many of life’s skills that will be carried for all who play it beyond the golf course” said, Dave Wilson, General Manager at PING Canada.
