Richmond Hill, Ont. (March 17, 2021) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce a NEW partnership with Hometurf Lawn Care for the 2021 season. The partnership will see Hometurf as the presenting sponsor of a 2-part Junior series CJGA events at Bloomington Downs Golf Course in Richmond Hill, Ontario on May 1-2, and Victoria Park East Golf Club on May 15-16 in Puslinch, Ontario.

“We are pleased to welcome our newest CJGA partnership with Hometurf. This is a bitter sweet day for our association, as one of our CJGA alumni – Matt Hooper the President & CEO of Hometurf is supporting the CJGA which helped him forge his love for the game of golf.” said Earl Fritz, CJGA CEO and Founder.

Hometurf is Canada’s largest independently owned lawn care service provider, and services most of Southern Ontario and southern Alberta. In additional to their 30+ years of service for Canadian homeowners, they will be offering our CJGA families a 10% discount on all of their lawn care home programs and services by using the promo-code: CJGA2021.

Both events in the 2-part Hometurf Junior series of events will be open to junior golfers between the ages of 12-18 and an event on the GOLFTEC – CJGA National Order of Merit, presented by TaylorMade. Juniors competing in the Bloomington Downs GC event on May 1-2 will also have the opportunity to qualify for the IMG World Championships in California.

“I am thrilled to be able to partner with the CJGA and support junior golf in Canada. As an alumnus of the tour, I learned first-hand the benefits that come from competing with peers and striving to play my best. Although I may not have realized it at the time, the skills I honed during my junior golf days have carried forward into my career and professional life. I am looking forward to supporting the next generation of talented young men and women as they strive to reach their respective goals.”
