The CJGA World Junior Challenge, now in its 26th year, is one of the marquee events conducted by the Canadian Junior Golf Association.
Since the inaugural teeoff in 1993, the CJGA World Junior Challenge has seen thousands of junior golfers, representing over 30 countries, pitted against one another in a friendly, yet competitive environment held at some of Florida’s most prolific golf courses.
This highly recognized event, held during the winter holiday season, December 27-30, offers Canadian and International juniors alike the opportunity to compete in an internationally ranked tournament while experiencing the culture of Florida golf.
The CJGA World Junior Challenge is a stroke play competition that includes a Team Component representing golf federations, associations and academies throughout the World.

If you have participated in the World Junior Challenge in previous years, enter the email address that you may have used before and then click on Forgot Password. A new password will then be sent to your email address. You may then sign up as a NON-MEMBER. There no extra fees except for the WJC fee.
If your a new, then click on Signup. Follow all the steps re your personal information that will take you to the tournament sign-up. You may then sign up as a NON-MEMBER. There no extra fees except for the WJC fee.
The World Junior Challenge is a Stroke Play Championship that includes a Team Component. Teams must fill out the Team Application with all its members. (See description below)
A player’s age will be determined as of August 1st, of the calendar year for all categories. A player will compete in the same age division all season long.
Example: A junior that has a birthday August 3, 2002 will compete in the Bantam (U15) division during the entire 2018 season. Although the junior will be 15 before the season is complete, he/she was 14 as of August 1st, of the calendar year.
Individual Stroke Play Championship
In the CJGA World Junior Challenge, juniors will compete in their respective age divisions in a stroke play championship. Winners will be recognized in each division.
Team Stroke Play Championship
The CJGA Country/Academy Team Entry provides an opportunity for countries/academies throughout the world to engage in a team competition while each participant also competes in the CJGA World Junior Challenge for the Individual Championship. Each Country/Academy Team Entry will have a male and female team component. Each team will consist of four (4) players with the three (3) best scores for each round counting towards the team total. Teams are required to have a minimum of three (3) players to compete. CJGA Country/Academy Teams can have multiple teams in the competition (example: Team Sweden 1, and Team Sweden 2).
The CJGA World Junior Challenge will recognize the top two teams at the end of the event.
Teams may enter an entire team of 4 at $1,500.00 USD.
