~U.S. Kids Exemptions on the Line~
Richmond Hill, Ont. (June 18, 2015) – The Club de Golf Val des Lacs is set to host the CJGA Junior Linkster tour this week as a full field of young golfers head to Saint-Sophie, QC this Saturday. Junior golfers from 5-13 years of age will be taking to the greens in an event that is a qualifier for the prestigious US Kids Golf World Championship. The U.S. Kids Golf World Championship will once again take place in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Home to several of the nation’s most beautiful courses, the Pinehurst community will be hosting the largest event in junior golf for the eighth consecutive year. This is the last opportunity for CJGA Linksters to qualify for the event.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2009, the Club de golf Val des Lacs is a classic parkland course renowned for its pristine conditioning and traditional feel. Designed by renowned Canadian architect Howard Watson, Val des Lacs features rolling fairways accented by lakes, valleys and hills, and defined by mature trees.
The weather forecast for Saturday calls for a mostly sunny day with a high that is predicted to be in the 20’s.

Canadian Junior Golf Association
The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is a “registered Canadian amateur athletic association” (RCAAA) not-for-profit registered federally with Revenue Canada.
