Juniors Prepare for CJGA Atlantic Junior Championship

Oakfield, NS (August 13th, 2017) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association is preparing for the Atlantic Junior Championship this week being played at the beautiful Oakfield Golf and Country Club in Oakfield, NS. The Atlantic Junior Championship is one of the largest events on the east coast on the CJGA national schedule. The top players in Eastern Canada will travel to Oakfield for their bid to be crowned Atlantic Junior Champion.

The Graham Cooke designed course at Oakfield Golf and Country Club is recognized as one of the premier courses in Atlantic Canada. The golf course is surrounded by beautiful scenic views which makes the rounds even more enjoyable. The course is designed for a perfect blend of playability and also will give juniors some challenges.

The weather is looking good for the tournament days as temperatures should be hovering around 24 degrees with mainly sunny skies. Tuesday during the final round there is a chance of showers.

This event will be officially ranked by Golf Canada, Nova Scotia Golf Association and the Junior Golf Scoreboard.
